He earned rave reviews when curating the 2019 Hip Hop Film Festival in Harlem, and most recently hosted a "Cuisines of the Black Diaspora" dinner in Philadelphia for Black History Month.
As a 1st Generation Haitian-American hailing from the ever-diverse Queens, Toúchef is trained in French technique, and is self-taught in World Cuisine.
